Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    De familie Allram produceert al tientallen jaren sensationele witte wijnen in het prestigieuze Kamptal in Oostenrijk en bezit enkele werkelijk uitzonderlijke wijngaarden in de gewaardeerde crus Heiligenstein, Gaisberg en Renner. Tegenwoordig wordt het landgoed gerund door Michaela Haas-Allram en haar man Erich, die het in 1992 van haar ouders overnamen.

    Het echtpaar streeft ernaar om heerlijke en elegante wijnen te produceren met de best mogelijke kwaliteit fruit, en daarom passen ze biologische en duurzame landbouw toe op hun landgoed. Deze elegante Riesling drukt de complexiteit uit van hun Heiligenstein wijngaard, misschien wel de beroemdste van het Kamptal. De wijnstokken zijn geplant op 270 miljoen jaar oude zandsteen en vulkanische bodems, die helpen om gratie en elegantie toe te voegen aan de afgewerkte wijn en de rijke fruitsmaken in evenwicht te brengen. In de neus domineren verleidelijke hints van witte bloemen, honing, boomgaardvruchten, ananas en zinderende citrusvruchten, terwijl het gehemelte een heerlijke frisheid biedt die in evenwicht wordt gehouden door een rijke en romige textuur. Ideaal om te serveren bij gerechten als gebraden kip, pittige Aziatische curry's of een selectie gerijpte kazen.
