    Clos Pitois begint met een glinsterend boeket van witte bloemen, citrus en rijp steenfruit, onderstreept door hints van hazelnoot en subtiel eikenhout. Deze Premier Cru uit de Bourgogne is volledig gemaakt van Chardonnay druiven en is een bewijs van de kwaliteit van de wijngaard. De wijn profiteert van het speciale microklimaat en de kalksteenrijke bodem van Clos Pitois, die exclusief eigendom is van Domaine Roger Belland.

    Dit familiewijnhuis strekt zich uit over de beste appellations in Bourgondië, waar het al meer dan vijf generaties lang voortreffelijke wijnen maakt. De huidige eigenaren Roger en Julie, een combinatie van vader en dochter, combineren traditionele wijnbouw met moderne technieken, zodat elke fles de zuiverheid en complexiteit van het land weerspiegelt.

    In de mond biedt de Clos Pitois Blanc een harmonieuze mix van abrikoos, citroenschil en geroosterde amandelen, ondersteund door een romige textuur en een levendige zuurgraad. De afdronk is lang en mineraal, met tonen van vuursteen en natte stenen. De wijn rijpte 8 maanden in Franse eikenhouten vaten voordat hij werd vrijgegeven, waardoor hij een eikenhouten ruggengraat kreeg. Deze wijn past prachtig bij sint-jakobsschelpen, romige kipgerechten of gegrilde vis. Het is een veelzijdige en elegante expressie van deze zeer exclusieve wijngaard.
