Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Van de grotere Russian River Valley appellatie, haalt de Wester Reach lijn fruit uit de wijngaarden die de koelere, meer westelijke klimaten van de hoge kustruggen in de regio omvatten. Met een constante focus op locatie en expressie is Wester Reach het perfecte project van Andy Smith - de 20 jaar oude wijnmaker en wijnbouwer van Dumol.

    De wijn bestaat uit handgeoogst fruit van vijf wijngaarden. Flax Estate, met zijn vulkanische bodem, zorgt voor volume, structuur en dichtheid. De diepere klei van Hanna Vineyard zorgt voor een breed fruitextract en een rijke textuur. Upp Road Vineyard zorgt voor aroma's van rood en zwart fruit en Widdoes Vineyard voor de intensiteit van zwarte kersen en de complexiteit van oude wijnstokken. DuMOL Estate biedt donkere fruittonen, kruiden en levendigheid.

    De selectie en het mengen van deze locaties brengt hulde aan hun individualiteit in een evenwichtige, holistische wijn. Verwacht een volle reeks rood en zwart fruit met hartige ondertonen van gedroogde tijm, sinaasappelschil, sandelhout en zwarte thee. Hij is knapperig en helder, soepel tegelijk.
