Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Laberinto is een boetiekwijnhuis in familiebezit, gelegen bij het Colbun-meer in Chili in de uitlopers van de Andes. De wijngaarden van het bedrijf, gelegen op een hoogte van 600 m op zure vulkanische bodems, zijn prachtig geplant en georiënteerd om een grotere diversiteit te verkrijgen door de verscheidenheid aan bodems en blootstelling aan de zon en om de productie van druiven en wijnen van de hoogste kwaliteit te garanderen. Het bedrijf verbouwt internationale wijnstokken zoals Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling en Semillon bij de witte wijnen en Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Pais en Pinot Noir bij de rode wijnen.

    Deze Sauvignon Blanc wordt gefermenteerd in roestvrijstalen tanks met geselecteerde gisten bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur om de frisse aroma's te behouden die typisch zijn voor deze druivensoort.

    De Laberinto Cenizas Sauvignon Blanc is een zeer frisse en sappige wijn, met een heldere kleur. Het aromaprofiel is levendig en stimulerend met tonen van guave, citroen en passievrucht. In de mond toont de wijn een duidelijke mineraliteit, met hints van steenslag afkomstig van de vulkanische as van de bodem van de wijngaarden. Het is een lange en frisse wijn. Heerlijk als aperitief, maar ook uitstekend in combinatie met zeevruchten en vegetarische gerechten.
