    De biodynamische wijn uit Zuid-Tirol van dit 400 jaar oude wijnhuis wordt verbouwd op zanderige, gevarieerde korrelige bodems van dolomiet, porfier gneis en graniet composieten gelegen op een prachtige 400-450 meter boven de zeespiegel, badend in ruime zon en zachte briesjes, die het potentieel voor de strakke Pinot Noir druiventrossen om te rotten met ingesloten vocht verminderen. Alleen de beste vaten worden gebruikt voor de Mason.

    Glanzende, briljante robijnrode kleur. Zachte, elegante aroma's van wilde bessen, zwarte peper, bosgrond en pepermunt met hints van rozenblaadjes en zoethout. De rijpe, kruidige bessenneus komt overeen met het elegante en intens zuivere gehemelte. Deze sappige wijn vloeit naadloos en combineert rijpe tannines met een strak geweven, evenwichtige levering met een vleugje eikenhout om de textuur af te ronden. De wijn is geurig en lineair met een indrukwekkend evenwicht dat eindeloze complexiteit oplevert. De zachte, verfijnde structuur draagt bij aan een lange, fijne minerale afdronk.

    Serveer met gegrild of geroosterd vlees, wild, wortelgroenten en zachte gerijpte kaas. Ook heerlijk op zichzelf. Een jong oogstjaar kan vroeg worden genoten met decanteren, en in de kelder gerijpt aanbod rijpt sierlijk en onthult een uitstekende delicatesse. Een “grand cru van een grand cru.” 12 maanden gerijpt in 25% nieuwe barriques.
