    Nk'Mip Cellars is het allereerste inheemse wijnhuis in Noord-Amerika. In de lokale Okanagan taal vertaalt de naam "Nk'Mip" zich als "bottomland" vanwege de ligging op het zuidelijke puntje van het Osoyoos Indianenreservaat. Het wijnhuis is gespecialiseerd in rode topwijnen dankzij de dorre woestijnachtige omstandigheden die hen helpen om perfect rijpe druiven te produceren met veel intensiteit en balans.

    De "Qwam Qwmt" serie van het wijnhuis betekent "het bereiken van uitmuntendheid" in de lokale Okanagan taal, aangezien de wijnen in kleine batches worden gemaakt van 40 jaar oude wijnstokken geplant op het landgoed. De druiven voor deze prachtige Pinot Noir worden half oktober zorgvuldig geselecteerd uit vijf specifieke blokken in Inkameep Vineyards, zodra ze volledig rijp zijn. Na de gisting rijpt de jonge wijn 10 maanden in Franse eiken vaten.

    Elegant en perfect in balans, deze Pinot Noir barst van de geroosterde eiken, rijpe kersen en kaneel en kruidnagel kruiden. De eerste slok onthult een medium body, fijne tannines en een zijdezachte textuur, evenals een zuivere, schone afdronk met een heldere zuurgraad. Het heldere rode fruitkarakter en de verfijning maken dit een geweldige match met geroosterde eend, zalm of paddenstoelenstroganoff.
