Philippe Colin vestigde zijn wijnmakerij in de industriële zone van Chassagne Montrachet waar hij prachtige wijnen maakt van zijn 11,5 hectare wijngaarden die hij erfde van zowel zijn vaders als moeders familie. Robert Parker beschreef hem als "een man van weinig woorden, maar dat is prima als je wijnen zoveel te zeggen hebben". Hoewel niet zo bekend als andere Bourgondische wijnmakers, worden zijn wijnen gemaakt met nauwgezette aandacht voor detail van een selectie van uitzonderlijke percelen. Rijk en complex, dit is een fantastisch voorbeeld van Chassagne Montrachet met levendige tonen van witte perziken, citrus en groene appels vermengd met hints van toast en vanille kruiden. In de mond is er een stevige kern van boomgaardfruit, een rijke en romige textuur, en een lange afdronk met een heldere zuurgraad voor het evenwicht. Een fantastische wijn om nog een paar jaar te bewaren of om nu van te genieten bij gegrilde vis, zalm, gebraden kip of een rijke pastaschotel op basis van room.
