Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Pagot wijnhuis is gelegen in Binyamin in de heuvels van Jeruzalem en beschikt over eersteklas wijngaarden, geplant op bergachtige terrassen op 700-900 meter boven de zeespiegel. Deze omgeving is ideaal voor het produceren van kwaliteitswijnen dankzij de zonnige zomerdagen en de bergwind die de frisheid en aroma's in de druiven helpt te behouden.

    Het land hier wordt al duizenden jaren gebruikt om druiven te verbouwen en er wordt zelfs gezegd dat dit de plek is waar Abraham boerde en wijn maakte. Een oude wijnpers werd gevonden op het landgoed, evenals een munt die dateert uit 66-73 CE en op de Psagot etiketten staat.

    Sinai is een van Psagot's meest populaire wijnen dankzij het gemakkelijke smaakprofiel dat barst van de weelderige donkere bessen en pruimen met zachte hints van bakkruiden. In de mond zijn er zachte tannines, een gemiddelde body en een lange fruitige afdronk. De jonge wijn wordt gerijpt in de unieke kelder van Psagot in een oude grot, waar de duisternis en vochtigheid ideale rijpingsomstandigheden bieden. Dit is een ideale wijn om van te genieten tijdens ontspannen familiediners naast gerechten met rood vlees, zoals verse pasta met een rijke ragu-saus of gebraden rundvlees.
