    Deze 100% Sangiovese wijn biedt een eersteklas smaak van Toscane. Hij heeft een gul bouquet, met geuren van wild rood fruit, vijg, sinaasappelschil, leer en een eikenhouten elegantie. De druiven komen uit de buurt van Castelnuovo dell'Abate, een prachtige locatie in het hart van Montalcino.

    Sinds 2016 maakt het wijnhuis San Giorgio deel uit van de ColleMassari groep, samen met zusterwijnhuizen Grattamacco, Poggio di Sotto en Castello ColleMassari. Als groep vormen de landgoederen de ruggengraat van de premium wijnproductie in Toscane en bieden ze een ongeëvenaarde smaak van deze wereldberoemde regio. Deze Brunello di Montalcino heeft in de loop der jaren talloze onderscheidingen gekregen en is zelden met minder dan 90 punten beoordeeld.

    Ugolforte balanceert lagen van rijpe tannines, verfrissende zuren en een zachte afdronk. Ontdek tonen van zwarte kersen, pruimen en wilde aardbeien in de mond, ondersteund door aardse tonen van gerookt vlees, salie en tabaksrook. Het is een medium tot volle Brunello, die opvalt door zijn warme karakter en lange levensduur. Hij is gemakkelijk te drinken, geschikt voor serieuze verzamelaars of nieuwkomers in de regio. Bewaar hem enige tijd in de kelder, of geniet ervan met gnocchi, gehaktballetjes of een stoofschotel van rundvlees.
