Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Deze Cabernet Sauvignon biedt ongelooflijk veel waar voor uw geld. De neus is klassiek Californië. Sterke geuren van zwarte kersen en pruimenjam vermengen zich met koffie, cacao en zoethout. De wijn heeft een diepe karmozijnrode kleur in het glas, met paarse tinten, en de druiven zijn geplukt van verschillende wijngaarden in de Central Coast AVA.

    Tensley Wines is een van de beste familiebedrijven in Santa Barbara County. Het werd in 1998 opgericht door het echtpaar Joey en Jennifer Tensley, in het schilderachtige stadje Los Olivos aan het strand. Hoewel veel van hun wijnen het Central Coast-label dragen, geven de Tensleys de voorkeur aan specifieke terroirs en oogsten ze hun druiven van kleinere wijngaarden uit de hele regio.

    Middelgroot tot vol in de mond, deze Cabernet Sauvignon barst van de smaken van kersen, bosbessen en pruimen, met aangename, hartige ondertonen van geroosterde kruiden, donkere chocolade en tabak. Hij is sappig, makkelijk drinkbaar en zal zelfs de meest hardcore Cab Sav-fans versteld doen staan. De afdronk is lang en aromatisch. Met zijn voedselvriendelijke en toch complexe karakter is deze wijn het waard om te combineren met sappige steaks, belegen kaas of een tomatenrijk pastagerecht.
