    Opgericht in 1870 onder de naam Efrat (geïnspireerd door de bijbelse weg waarlangs de druiven naar de kelder 'Efrata shehi Beit Lechem' werden gebracht), is de Teperberg wijnmakerij al 5 generaties lang een familiebedrijf en wordt nu geleid door Moti Teperberg. Sinds 2006 is het bedrijf verhuisd naar Kibboets Tzora en heeft het zijn productie gericht op wijnen van hoge kwaliteit, waardoor het een van Israëls toonaangevende wijnmakerijen is geworden, en de op drie na grootste.

    De Gewürztraminer druiven worden machinaal geoogst in de Mitzpe Ramon regio in de avonduren, om maximale versheid en de pure expressie van het aromatische karakter van deze variëteit te garanderen. De most wordt gekoeld en vervolgens gefermenteerd bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur. De gisting wordt vervolgens gestopt voordat de suikers volledig zijn omgezet, zodat een wijn met een lichte restzoetheid ontstaat.

    Teperberg Impression Gewurztraminer is een delicate en elegante wijn met bloemige en tropische aroma's, hints van meloen en rozenwater. In de mond is hij zacht en subtiel zoet. De fruitige tonen worden perfect in balans gehouden door een knapperig karakter en een levendige zuurgraad. De afdronk is lang en aangenaam. Het is een wijn om jong te drinken, gekoeld te serveren en te combineren met Aziatische gerechten op basis van kip.
