Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Drink hem nu of bewaar hem in een kelder tot 8-10 jaar. Decanteren is niet nodig, maar u kunt hem het beste een half uur voor het serveren openen.

    Ontstaan in 2017 door de broers Levan en Georgi Chychynadze, is de naam Tiko wijnhuis een eerbetoon aan de moeder van de oprichters (Tiko was haar bijnaam). Het bedrijf is gevestigd in de wijnregio Kakheti, waar het continentale klimaat en de ijzerrijke bodem al duizenden jaren ideale omstandigheden bieden voor de productie van kwaliteitswijnen. Het Tiko wijnhuis richt zich op inheemse Georgische wijnstokken en traditionele wijnbereidingsmethoden.

    Deze sinaasappelwijn uit Oost-Georgië wordt gemaakt van druiven van de inheemse Kisi variëteit. De gisting vindt plaats volgens de traditionele methode op de schillen in grote terracotta potten die Qvevri worden genoemd. Na de gisting rijpt de afgewerkte wijn nog 6 maanden op de schillen.

    Estate Orange Kisi is een felgekleurde wijn met oranje tinten. In de neus onthult hij een breed en complex aromatisch profiel met tonen van steenfruit en kweepeer, honing en sinaasappelschil. In de mond is hij geconcentreerd en krachtig, maar goed in balans. Hij heeft een bijna romige textuur in de mond en goed geïntegreerde tannines. De afdronk is lang en doet denken aan abrikozentonen. Zijn aromatische rijkdom maakt hem ideaal bij gerechten uit het Midden-Oosten en Azië.
