UPS was verschrikkelijk. Eerst gaven ze de verwachte bezorgdatum door, en daarna lieten ze mijn vrouw de hele dag wachten, om uiteindelijk zonder enige waarschuwing (!) niet te bezorgen. Pas de volgende ochtend lieten ze weten dat de verwachte bezorgdatum was gewijzigd (!) en deze keer ging het wel goed. De hele dag verspild, geen mogelijkheid om de koerier te bellen. Vreselijke ervaring! Arrogante klootzakken.

Geschiedenis

Querciabella is een baanbrekend Chianti-landgoed dat in 1988 voor het eerst de biologische en in 2000 de biodynamische landbouw omarmde. Tegenwoordig heeft het landgoed 74 hectare wijngaarden in de Chianti Classico appellatie en nog eens 32 hectare in de kuststreek Maremma waar deze wijn vandaan komt.

Interesting Facts

Meer recentelijk heeft het landgoed de veganistische principes overgenomen in al haar activiteiten, waarbij alleen producten worden gebruikt die niet afkomstig zijn van dieren. Dit sterke streven naar duurzaamheid heeft Querciabella op de kaart gezet als een van de belangrijkste biologische en biodynamische producenten van Italië.
