    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    De delicate tint van deze charmante rosé is vernoemd naar het "Oeil de Perdrix" of "patrijzenoog", een bijzonder bleke tint roze die typisch is voor de etherische roséwijnen uit Zuid-Frankrijk. Deze rosé wordt in Californië gemaakt volgens traditionele Provençaalse vinificatietechnieken die al generaties lang in dat deel van Frankrijk worden gebruikt.

    Om een rosé te maken die zowel fris als vol van smaak is, laat men de druivenmost korte tijd met de schillen macereren, waardoor de wijn zijn karakteristieke lichtroze tint krijgt. De most wordt vervolgens gefermenteerd in een tank met temperatuurregeling en rijpt dan twee maanden op de droesem om een zachte, soepele textuur toe te voegen en de delicate aroma's te behouden.

    In de neus zijn er aantrekkelijke hints van wilde aardbeien, rode kersen, munt en gedroogde mediterrane kruiden. Neem een slokje en u wordt beloond met een heerlijke frisheid, een lichte en elegante body en aanhoudende smaken van rood fruit, gekruid met hints van pittige mandarijn en granaatappelbloesem. De levendige persoonlijkheid van deze heerlijke rosé maakt hem ideaal om van te genieten bij eenvoudige zomergerechten zoals salade caprese, gebakken zalmmootjes of een royaal bord met zeevruchten.
