    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Het wijnhuis Bodegas El Paraguas werd in 2007 opgericht door Marcial Pita en Felicísimo Pereira en ligt in de Spaanse Atlantische regio Galicië. Hier genieten de wijngaarden van een klimaat dat beïnvloed wordt door oceaanwinden en graniet- of schistbodems.

    De wijn is een blend van Treixadura, met kleine toevoegingen van Godello en Albariño. De druiven zijn geselecteerd uit de wijngaarden La Cabrita, La Castiñeira, La Viña del Médico en Paraje de la Mina, geplant op zandgrond met granieten ondergrond. De verschillende percelen gisten afzonderlijk in roestvrijstalen en Franse eiken vaten, terwijl de Godello drie maanden in vaten rijpt. Deze uitstekende witte wijn weerspiegelt perfect de productiefilosofie van Bodegas El Paraguas, die het gebruik van geavanceerde technologieën en minimale interventie in de wijngaard inhoudt, om druiven van de hoogste kwaliteit te verkrijgen.

    Antico Blanco heeft een citroengele kleur met wat groenige reflecties. In de neus onthult het een fris en levendig aromatisch profiel met citrustonen, ananas en peer, en gele bloemen. In de mond is hij fruitig, met een goede structuur en levendige zuren. De afdronk is lang en doet denken aan een duidelijke zilte ader die het Atlantische karakter weerspiegelt. Het is perfect bij vis en zeevruchten in het algemeen, maar probeer het eens met spaghetti met mosselen voor het beste wijn-spijs paar.
