Brewer-Clifton Winery werd opgericht in 1996 en houdt vast aan de Bourgondische achtergrond van Pinot Noir en Chardonnay, terwijl het Californische terroir doorschemert. Een boeket van aardbeien, kersencola, bosgrond en florale hints begroet je in de neus, met een achtergrond van subtiele kruiden. Deze trend zet zich voort in de mond. Rijke smaken van pruimen, vijgen en granaatappel domineren, terwijl aardse en kruidige tonen van menthol, tijm en rooibosthee voor extra diepte zorgen. Deze wijn is ongelooflijk waar voor zijn geld, met een beoordeling van 90+ door talloze gerespecteerde critici. Hij is helder en charmant in de mond en combineert zachte tannines met sappige zuren.
