    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Kan tot 7 jaar bewaard worden. Ca' Momi werd in 2006 opgericht door een trio van Italianen, Dario De Conti, Valentina Guolo-Migotto en Stefano Migotto. Dario en Stefano hadden in de jaren negentig in hun geboorteland een reputatie opgebouwd als getalenteerde jonge wijnmakers voordat ze naar Californië verhuisden. Hier werden ze al snel verliefd op de Napa Valley en richtten ze hun eigen label op dat de natuurlijke schoonheid van de regio in typisch Italiaanse stijl interpreteert.

    Hun gemakkelijke Rosso di Napa doet denken aan een klassieke Italiaanse huiswijn die perfect is voor het vieren van gezellige familiediners en ongedwongen bijeenkomsten. Hij is gemaakt van een blend van Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot en Petite Syrah en is slechts licht geweekt om het karakter en de kwaliteit van de druiven te laten doorschijnen.

    Op de neus zijn er intense bosbessen, cassis en bramen noten samen met een hint van houtrook, toast en kruiden. De eerste slok onthult een royale volle body, soepele tannines en een lange afdronk met eikenhouten toetsen, pruimen en geplette wilde bessen. Het gedurfde smaakprofiel en de zeer drinkbare stijl maken dit een geweldige wijn om te serveren bij pasta's op basis van tomaten, pizza's, vleeswaren en andere klassieke Italiaanse gerechten zoals aubergine parmigiana.
