    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Deze rode Rioja wijn zit boordevol aroma's van zwarte kersen, pruimenjam, sinaasappelschil en een prikkelend kruidenmengsel. Het is een blend, voornamelijk gemaakt van de Tempranillo druif, hoewel de Graciano kruiden ook duidelijk in de neus aanwezig zijn. Maturana en de witte druiven Malvasia en Viura vullen de rest van de mix aan.

    Dominio de Anza werd opgericht door Diego Magana, de zoon van de gewaardeerde wijnmaker Raul Perez, die eigenaar is van het beroemde wijnhuis Vina Magana uit Navarra. Hoewel de regio Bierzo Diego's thuisbasis is, bezit hij sinds 2016 ook enkele percelen in Rioja Alavesa. Dit is Diego Magana's entree in Rioja, een toegankelijke wijn afkomstig van 60 jaar oude wijnstokken verspreid over vijf kleine percelen.

    Dominio de Anza's Rioja omhult de mond met fluweelzachte tannines en intense kersensmaken. Rijpe pruimen, rook en leer zijn ook te ontdekken, die door een ader van zuurheid naar een lange, minerale afdronk surfen. Hij heeft een intens profiel, overladen met donker fruit, maar is ook elegant en zacht in de mond. Hij is fris en minder eikenachtig dan veel van zijn serieuze Rioja-tegenhangers. Combineer hem met kruidige worstjes, een selectie tapas of een rood vleesgerecht.
