Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Noemd naar de 23e letter van het Griekse alfabet, is PSI door sommigen omschreven als een werk van liefde en "Een van de grootste en meest opwindende wijnen die ik ooit heb geproefd" door wijnkenner Robert Parker.

    Organisch en biodynamisch, Pingus Psi is 100% Tinto Fino druif (beter bekend als Tempranillo) afkomstig van wijnboeren met wie het wijnhuis strikte werkafspraken heeft, van evenwichtige wijngaarden, beplant met struiken op bodems van verschillende samenstelling en gemiddeld 30 jaar oud. De druiven worden handmatig ontsteeld om de beste kwaliteit te garanderen. De lange maceratie vindt plaats in betonnen tanks om het maximale uit de fruitaroma's te halen en rijpt vervolgens in grote eiken vaten met vrijwel geen nieuw eikenhout.

    Dominio de Pingus Psi is helder paars op het oog. De neus brengt uitgesproken aroma's van kersen, donkere bessen zoals bramen en bosbessen met een vleugje vanille.

    In de mond zijn kersen, cassis en bramen in evenwicht met goed gedefinieerde tannines en zuren die een zeer frisse, fruitige wijn bieden die een genot is om te ervaren.

    De afdronk is lang en rijk met een bijna zoete rand.
