    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Drink hem nu of bewaar hem tot 10 jaar in een kelder. Het wordt aanbevolen om de wijn een uur te decanteren.

    Gelegen in de Argentijnse provincie Salta, en eerder in de Cafayate wijnregio, op een hoogte tussen 1650 en 2500 meter boven zeeniveau, werd Bodega El Porvenir de Cafayate ongeveer 20 jaar geleden opgericht en wordt vandaag de dag geleid door Lucía Romero Marcuzzi met de hulp van wijnmaker Francisco "Paco" Puga.

    De Tannat druiven worden handmatig geoogst van wijnstokken die meer dan 20 jaar oud zijn. Ze zijn geplant op rotsachtige, met kwarts gevulde grond die overdag warmte kan opslaan en geleidelijk weer kan afgeven, waardoor de druiven vroeg kunnen rijpen. Het gistingsproces vindt plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks met geselecteerde gisten. Na wat rust in roestvrijstalen tanks en een jaar in eiken vaten (half nieuw, half oud) is de wijn klaar voor de markt.

    Deze wijn is als een fruit- en specerijenfeest in uw mond. Denk aan pruimen, frambozen, tijm, munt en een beetje aarde. Hij is soepel, heeft een grote fruitconcentratie en goed geïntegreerde tannines. De afdronk is aanhoudend en roept tonen op van munt en cederhout. Hij gaat heerlijk samen met een grote T-bone steak geserveerd met wat geroosterde porcini paddenstoelen.
