Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Gemaakt van 100% Tempranillo, de klassieke Ribera del Duero druif, is de Cepa 21 een zeer moderne, elegante expressie van het ras met veel intens fruitkarakter. In de neus zijn er gulle tonen van zwarte kersen, rijpe pruimen, tabak en hints van zoete kruiden. De eerste slok onthult een volle body, stevige tannines, en diep geconcentreerde cassis, bramen en bakkruiden smaken die lang op de tong blijven hangen.

    Het extreme continentale klimaat van de Ribera del Duero regio betekent dat de druiven optimale rijpheid bereiken met behoud van frisheid en balans. De familie Moro laat de wijn 12 maanden rijpen in Franse eiken vaten om de stevige structuur te verzachten en complexiteit en kruidige toetsen toe te voegen aan het smaakprofiel. Het resultaat is een intense, harmonieuze wijn die zich de komende tien jaar nog verder zal ontwikkelen.

    Het Cepa 21 project begon zo'n 20 jaar geleden toen de gerenommeerde familie Moro besloot tot een frisse, moderne benadering van de wijnbouw in Ribera del Duero. Het wijnhuis Emilio Moro is al drie generaties in de familie, maar deze recente onderneming heeft Jose Moro en zijn broers en zussen in staat gesteld om hun uitgebreide wijnmaakervaring toe te passen op een nieuwe uitdaging.
