A Birthday to Remember with DAOU & Colomé Celebrating my mother’s birthday was made even more special thanks to two incredible wines—DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. From the first sip, it enveloped us in its rich, velvety embrace. The deep dark fruit flavors, hints of cocoa, and perfectly balanced oak made every glass feel like a true indulgence. It was bold yet elegant, a wine that effortlessly brought warmth and joy to our gathering. Seeing my mother savor each sip with a smile made it all the more memorable. The Colomé Auténtico Malbec also delivered beautifully, with its pure expression of high-altitude Malbec. It was powerful, with ripe blackberries, spice, and a smooth, lingering finish—an excellent complement to the evening. These wines didn’t just enhance our meal; they became part of the celebration, elevating every toast and conversation. A heartfelt thank you to DAOU and Colomé for making this special occasion truly unforgettable!

    Een onvergetelijke verjaardag met DAOU & Colomé Het vieren van mijn moeders verjaardag werd nog specialer dankzij twee ongelooflijke wijnen - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 en Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. De ster van de avond was ongetwijfeld de DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Vanaf de eerste slok werden we omarmd door een rijke, fluweelzachte smaak. De diepe aroma's van donker fruit, hints van cacao en perfect gebalanceerd eikenhout zorgden ervoor dat elk glas aanvoelde als een ware verwennerij. Hij was gedurfd en toch elegant, een wijn die moeiteloos warmte en vreugde bracht aan onze bijeenkomst. Toen ik mijn moeder elke slok met een glimlach zag proeven, was het des te gedenkwaardiger. De Colomé Auténtico Malbec leverde ook prachtig, met zijn pure expressie van hooggelegen Malbec. Hij was krachtig, met rijpe bramen, kruiden en een zachte, aanhoudende afdronk - een uitstekende aanvulling op de avond. Deze wijnen versterkten niet alleen onze maaltijd; ze werden een deel van de viering, waardoor elke toast en elk gesprek een hoogtepunt werd. Hartelijk dank aan DAOU en Colomé voor het onvergetelijk maken van deze speciale gelegenheid!

    Gelegen in het hart van de Groene Provence in Bras in de Var, geniet het Chateau Favori van een natuurlijke positie van uitzonderlijke schoonheid en profiteert van een steenachtige klei-kalksteen bodem gunstig voor de expressie van de Coteaux Varois terroir, en een klimaat gekenmerkt door zonnige dagen en koele nachten dankzij de bescherming van het Massif de la Sainte Baume.

    Deze levendige en frisse wijn wordt gemaakt van een blend van Grenache (70%), Syrah (15%), en Vermentino of Rolle (15%). Grenache brengt delicatesse in de blend, Syrah zorgt voor een mooie roze kleur en brengt structuur en levendigheid, terwijl de Rolle enkele interessante florale tonen toevoegt en het geheel in balans brengt. De druiven worden 's nachts geoogst om de frisheid te garanderen en de raskenmerken te behouden. De gisting vindt plaats bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van 16° voor een betere aromatische expressie.

    De wijn heeft een mooie lichte en heldere roze kleur. In de neus is het een expressieve wijn met duidelijke aroma's van rood fruit, vooral aardbei, framboos en kers, evenals tonen van witte voorjaarsbloemen. In de mond is de Favori Chateau Favori Provence fris en dorstlessend met fruitige en licht kruidige tonen, hij heeft een mooie structuur en een zeer aangename balans. De afdronk is lang en licht ziltig.

    Het past perfect bij mediterrane voorgerechten, rauwe groenten, zomerse vegetarische recepten, zeevruchten en zeebaars met olijven.
    Toevoegen om te vergelijken
    Deze levendige en frisse wijn wordt gemaakt van een blend van Grenache, Syrah en Vermentino of Rolle.
