Gerard Bertrand is nicknamed the “King of the Languedoc” thanks to his tireless work in the South of France where he has spent many years producing top quality wines from a wide range of appellations. This part of France is world famous for its crisp and refreshing rosé wines like this elegant Hampton Water bottling which is crafted from the classic local grapes Grenache, Mourvedre, and Cinsault.

The wine is the result of a collaboration between Bertrand and Jon Bon Jovi and his son, Jesse Bongiovi. The trio came together with a vision to craft a remarkable rosé which would capture the relaxed, convivial lifestyle found both in the South of France and the Hamptons on Long Island.

Made from the finest quality juice, the grape must is vinified separately for each variety with some of the wine aged briefly in oak barrels to add complexity. The young wine is then carefully blended and bottled as soon as possible to preserve the freshness and natural aromatics. The result is an uplifting, energetic wine which opens with zesty citrus, juicy raspberry and strawberry notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs. A great aperitif or accompaniment to summery salads, cheeses or seafood and fish dishes.
