    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Henschke is een wijnhuis gevestigd in Zuid-Australië, met een rijk wijnbouwerfgoed. Leden van de familie Henschke voorzien Zuid-Australië al meer dan 150 jaar van uitstekende wijn, lang voordat de regio internationale erkenning kreeg.

    Henschke gaat nu zijn zesde generatie in en wordt geleid door man en vrouw Stephen en Prue en hun drie kinderen, die zelf getalenteerde wijnbouwers zijn. De benadering van de familie is eenvoudig: zij zorgen voor het land en dat land levert kwaliteitsdruiven voor een prachtige reeks Zuid-Australische wijnen.

    De Keyneton Euphonium is een diep scharlakenrode blend van Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon en Cabernet Franc, met een scheutje Merlot. De neus is diep en gul, met prominente tonen van cassis, pruimen en chocolade, ondersteund door kruidige tonen van tomatenblad en eucalyptus. Hij heeft een indrukwekkende concentratie in de mond, met een rond en fluweelachtig mondgevoel. Bosbessen en rijke pruimen worden ondersteund door tonen van witte peper en zoethout. Dit is een klassieke smaak van de Barossa, gemaakt met fruit uit de Barossa en Eden Valley. Perfect in combinatie met een gebraden lamsbout, oude harde kazen of een schaal olijven.
