    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Kan tot 7 jaar bewaard worden. Met een nobele geschiedenis die teruggaat tot 1685, is Klein Constantia een van Zuid-Afrika's meest gerespecteerde wijnhuizen. Het domein ligt in een prachtige omgeving aan de voet van de Constiaberg met uitzicht op de nabijgelegen False Bay. De omstandigheden hier zijn ideaal voor het produceren van topwijnen dankzij de verkoelende zeebries die zorgt voor een zeer lange rijpingsperiode en helpt de frisheid en aromatische complexiteit van de druiven te behouden.

    Deze robuuste rode wijn is gemaakt van Cabernet Sauvignon samen met kleinere hoeveelheden Petit Verdot en Malbec. De druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst van geselecteerde percelen bij optimale rijpheid en alleen de beste kwaliteit druiven worden gekozen voor deze wijn. Na de vinificatie wordt de jonge wijn overgebracht naar Franse eikenhouten vaten voor 16 maanden rijping.

    Zwarte kersen, cassis en moerbeien kenmerken de neus, terwijl het gehemelte barst van de grote bessensmaken en meer delicate hints van houtrook, zwarte peper en vanille van de eikenhouten rijping. Zachte tannines, een stevige structuur en rijpe fruitsmaken maken dit een geweldige partner voor smaakvolle rode vleesgerechten, hoewel hij ook nog een jaar of zes kan worden bewaard.
