Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Drink hem nu of bewaar hem tot 10 jaar in een kelder. Decanteren is niet nodig, maar u kunt hem het beste een half uur voor het serveren openen.

    De Sloveense wijncoöperatie Klet Brda werd in 1957 opgericht in de regio Goriška Brda. Vandaag de dag verenigt het bedrijf ongeveer 400 telerfamilies en heeft het zijn hoofdkantoor en kelders in het Dobrovo kasteel. De wijngaarden strekken zich uit over ongeveer 1000 hectare waar Ribolla de belangrijkste variëteit is. Andere druivenrassen zijn Chardonnay, Sauvignonasse en de rode Merlot en Cabernet Sauvignon.

    De Ribolla druiven komen van terrasvormige wijngaarden op een hoogte tussen 100 en 350 meter in de Brda wijnregio op lichte grond van mergel en zandsteen. De oogst is handmatig, en na 12 uur maceratie worden de druiven in vaten gefermenteerd. De afgewerkte wijn rijpt vervolgens 12 maanden in Frans eiken.

    Klet Brda Bagueri Rebula heeft een intense kleur met goudgele tinten. In de neus onthult de wijn een fris en levendig aromatisch profiel met tonen van citrus en enkele hints van vanille en broodkorst. In de mond is de wijn expressief, vol en harmonieus, zacht en met een goed uitgebalanceerde zuurgraad. De afdronk is lang en aangenaam aanhoudend. Probeer hem bij zeevruchten, risotto met sint-jakobsschelpen of tagliatelle met groenten.
