    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Unánime van Mascota Vineyards is levendig robijnrood in het glas, exploderend met geuren van pruimen, rode kersen en hints van gedroogde kokosnoot. De wijn heeft een typisch Nieuw Werelds karakter, met rijke, rijpe smaken en een grote, veerkrachtige textuur. Hij is gemaakt van 100% Malbec druiven, geoogst in de Uco Vallei, in de Mendoza regio van Argentinië.

    Het gezicht en de oprichter van Mascota Vineyards is Rodolfo "Opi" Sadler, een Argentijnse pionier op het gebied van wijnmaken die grote bekendheid heeft gekregen voor zijn Cabernet Sauvignon. Argentinië is echter het land van de Malbec, en ook op dat gebied stelt Sadler niet teleur - zijn Malbec won in 2015 een gouden medaille bij de Argentina Wine Awards.

    La Mascota's Unánime Malbec is afkomstig uit de Uco Vallei, een hooggelegen regio die gevoed wordt door smeltwater uit het Andesgebergte. Hij zit boordevol weelderig fruit uit de Nieuwe Wereld en combineert een subtiele zoetheid met fijne, structurele tannines. Let op smaken van kersen, zwarte bessen, pruimenjam en cacao, met voorzichtige hints van zoethout, vanille en mineraliteit. De gezonde fruittonen hebben diepte en nuance, wat leidt tot een lange, bevredigende afdronk. Een onovertroffen expressie van Argentijnse Malbec. Combineer hem eens met een stevige steak, pittige, romige kazen of een stuk vlees dat vers van de grill komt.
