Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    La Scolca's Gavi dei Gavi wordt algemeen beschouwd als de benchmark voor de frisse en uitbundige witte wijnen uit het gelijknamige kleine bergdorpje in de Apennijnen. Geproduceerd in een traditionele stijl van 100% Cortese, is La Scolca's wijn gemaakt van topkwaliteit fruit streng geselecteerd uit biodynamisch gekweekte 60 jaar oude wijngaarden.

    In de wijnmakerij worden de druiven zorgvuldig gesorteerd om ervoor te zorgen dat alleen de beste worden gebruikt voor de Gavi dei Gavi. De most wordt gedeeltelijk gemacereerd met de schillen om extra complexiteit toe te voegen en wordt ook gerijpt op de droesem gedurende de winter. Deze traditionele methoden helpen bij het creëren van een Gavi dei Gavi die zowel gemakkelijk drinkbaar is als barst van de aantrekkelijke aroma's.

    In de neus zijn er delicate hints van amandelen, toast en rijpe witte perziken, terwijl de eerste slok een scherpe zuurgraad, vleugjes mineraliteit en een zeer lange afdronk onthult.
