Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    "Matua" is het Maori-woord voor "hoofd van de familie", en het is een toepasselijke naam gezien het feit dat dit bescheiden wijnhuis in 1974 de allereerste Sauvignon Blanc van Nieuw-Zeeland maakte. Hoewel het project begon met een klein blikken schuurtje en twee broers, Bill en Ross Spence, geniet het wijnhuis nu een wereldwijde reputatie voor hun heerlijke wijnen gemaakt van klassieke internationale druivenrassen.

    Deze verfrissende en frisse wijn is gemaakt van 100% Pinot Noir druiven uit de Marlborough regio van Nieuw-Zeeland, die bekend staat om zijn koele klimaat en ideale groeiomstandigheden voor Pinot Noir druiven. De druiven worden 's nachts geoogst om hun frisheid te behouden en vervolgens voorzichtig geperst om het sap te extraheren.

    Zodra u een glas inschenkt, zult u de levendige roze kleur en verleidelijke aroma's van aardbeien, frambozen en watermeloen in de neus opmerken. In de mond is de wijn fris en levendig met smaken van geplette rode bessen en een subtiel vleugje citrus. De afdronk is schoon en droog, waardoor het een uitstekende keuze is voor warm weer en bijeenkomsten in de buitenlucht of om te combineren met groene salades, sushi of pittige Aziatische gerechten.
