Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Pinot Noir Wijnen

    Rode Pinot Noir-wijnen zijn doorgaans elegant met heerlijke tonen van frambozen, rode kersen en aardbeien en een soepele, goed afgeronde textuur. Deze wijnen hebben meestal een lichte of gemiddelde body met weinig tannines en alcohol en veel verfrissende zuren. Pinot Noir druiven worden ook gebruikt om Champagne te maken, alleen of gemengd met Chardonnay en Pinot Meunier.

    Belangrijkste Pinot Noir wijngebieden

    De beste Pinot Noir komt uit de beroemde regio Bourgondië in Noord-Frankrijk, waar het koele klimaat de kenmerkende frisheid en finesse van de druif laat zien. Andere populaire regio's voor Pinot Noir zijn Central Otago in Nieuw-Zeeland, Oregon en Washington State, en delen van Californië zoals Carneros, de Russian River Valley en de Sonoma Coast, die alle worden gekoeld door de nabijgelegen Stille Oceaan.

    Pinot Noir bij gerechten

    Dankzij hun evenwichtige smaakprofiel met lage tannines en ruime zuren zijn rode Pinot Noir wijnen zeer veelzijdig als het gaat om het combineren van gerechten. Natuurlijke combinaties zijn gebraden eend, varkensvlees en aardse paddenstoelengerechten zoals risotto's en stoofschotels. Champagnes die uitsluitend van pinot noir worden gemaakt, de zogenaamde Blanc de Noirs, zijn meestal rijker van stijl en passen goed bij oude kazen, in boter gebakken sint-jakobsschelpen of desserts met rode bessen.
