    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    De Razi'el kelder is onderdeel van het Domaine du Castel, en meer precies was het 20 jaar lang de eerste vestiging van het Domaine. Na de verhuizing naar het nieuwe hoofdkantoor van Yad Hashmona in 2015 besloot de familie Ben Zaken om de kelder weer te gaan gebruiken om meer experimentele wijnen te produceren die het gebied kunnen uitdrukken, maar met andere technieken en variëteiten. Onder het Razi'el label produceert het bedrijf een rode wijn, een rosé en twee mousserende wijnen.

    De rode wijn wordt geproduceerd met een blend van Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre en Carignan druiven die handmatig geselecteerd en geoogst worden. De afgewerkte wijn rijpt vervolgens 18 maanden in eikenhouten vaten.

    Razi'el Red is een krachtige, volle wijn met een diepe, intens paarse kleur. In de neus onthult hij een breed aromatisch profiel met tonen van donker fruit zoals pruimen en zwarte kersen en hints van aromatische kruiden en specerijen. In de mond is hij geconcentreerd en fruitig met zachte tannines en een goede balans tussen smaken en zuren. De afdronk is lang. Het is de ideale wijn in combinatie met recepten uit het Midden-Oosten op basis van lamsvlees, of met Moussaka.
