    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Verleidelijke donkere kersen, bramen, zoete specerijen en lavendel betoveren de neus, terwijl de eerste slok wilde bessenjam, gedroogde kruiden en hints van rook en tabak onthult, samen met een kenmerkende mineraliteit. De stevige structuur en tannines zijn perfect in balans met een vleugje zuur en een lange afdronk.

    Deze unieke rode blend uit Lazio is gemaakt van biologisch geteelde Grenache, Syrah, Carignan en Tempranillo druiven die zorgvuldig met de hand worden geplukt bij optimale rijpheid. Ze worden vervolgens vergist in roestvrijstalen tanks met behulp van wilde gisten en gerijpt in eiken vaten gedurende 20 maanden, gevolgd door nog eens 6 maanden rijping in de fles.

    De San Giovenale Habemus Lazio is een van de meest opwindende wijnen die momenteel in Lazio worden gemaakt dankzij de ambitieuze wijnmaker Emanuele Pangrazi. Als succesvol ondernemer voordat hij zich toelegde op zijn passie voor wijn, werkte Emanuele samen met de beroemde Italiaanse enoloog Marco Casolanetti om uitstekende locaties voor wijngaarden te identificeren in de pittoreske vallei van Blera net ten noorden van Rome. De omstandigheden zijn hier ideaal voor het maken van uitzonderlijke wijnen dankzij de overvloedige zomerzon en de verkoelende invloed van de nabijgelegen Tyrreense Zee.
