    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    U Susana Balbo werd in 2012 door het tijdschrift The Drink Business bekroond als een van de "Meest invloedrijke vrouwelijke wijnmakers" en was de eerste Argentijnse vrouw die afstudeerde in de enologie. Na bijna twintig jaar gewerkt te hebben voor enkele wijnhuizen zoals Michel Torino, Martins en Catena Zapata richtte ze in 1999 haar eigen bedrijf op, in het hart van Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Haar bedrijf, waar zij nu wordt bijgestaan door haar kinderen José en Ana, wordt gekenmerkt door een jonge en dynamische stijl en een filosofie gericht op constante innovatie.

    Dit is een Bordeaux blend met een overwicht aan Cabernet Sauvignon. De druiven komen van de Agrelo wijngaard die de wijnkelder omringt, aangeplant door Susana Balbo zelf in 2001. De wijn rijpt 15 maanden in Franse eikenhouten vaten.

    Brioso is een soepele en ronde rode wijn met krachtige maar zijdeachtige tannines en een heerlijke concentratie van rijp zwart fruit, vijgen, pure chocolade, geroosterd brood en een lichte kruidige toets. Het is een wijn van goede consistentie maar niet zwaar, met uitstekende zuren en frisheid. Perfect bij gebraden lamsvlees, pappardelle met vleessaus en polenta met truffels.
