    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Clos Pegase is een indrukwekkend wijndomein in de Napa Valley APA, met panoramisch uitzicht op de Mayacamas Mountain Range. Het hoofdgebouw van de wijnmakerij is een stukje innovatieve architectuur, ontworpen door Michael Graves in 1987 en is een van de belangrijkste wijnbestemmingen van Californië.

    Clos Pegase maakt wijnen van wijngaarden die uitsluitend eigendom zijn van het landgoed, waardoor er meer controle is en een extreem hoog kwaliteitsniveau van het eindproduct. De grootste wijngaard van het landgoed is Mitsuko's Vineyard, 365 hectare in totaal, die het grootste deel van de wijngaardgrond in de Los Carneros appellatie vormt.

    Mitsuko's Vineyard is de oorsprong van deze krachtige, dieppaarse Merlot. De vruchten werden geteeld in een deel van de wijngaard met Haire klei-leem bodem, griezelig gelijk aan de bodem op de rechteroever van Bordeaux.
