    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Clos des Epeneaux is een historische wijngaard, in het hart van de Pommard regio van Bourgondië. Hij is beroemd om een paar redenen: ten eerste om zijn grootte, hij strekt zich uit over 5,23 hectare van de Cote de Beaune. Ten tweede bevat het enkele van de oudste wijnstokken in de regio, waarvan vele meer dan 100 jaar oud zijn. Om Clos des Epeneaux te proeven, moet u naar Domaine du Comte Armand, een gewaardeerd wijnhuis dat het monopolie heeft op de hele wijngaard.

    Sinds 2014 is Paul Zinetti de wijnmaker van Comte Armand, een man die weet hoe hij het beste uit deze 5 hectare kan halen. Clos des Epeneaux begint met een prachtig bouquet van framboos, granaatappel, sinaasappelschil en subtiele gedroogde paddenstoelen.

    In de mond kan deze Pinot Noir alles wat u weet over Pommard herdefiniëren. Hij brengt een zekere elegantie om de kracht die vaak met de regio wordt geassocieerd te compenseren, met zijdezachte tannines en een strakke zuurgraad. Let op smaken van veenbes, scherp haagfruit en sigarendoos, samen met hints van bosgrond en scherpe mineraliteit. Combineer Clos des Epeneaux met geroosterd gevogelte, bourguignon van rundvlees of geroosterde groenten.
