    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Deze Pinot Noir is een levendige, robijnrode wijn met een uitnodigend bouquet van rode haagbessen, rijpe kersen en subtiele aardse tonen van paddenstoelen. Het is een uitstekende presentatie van Frankrijks beste Pinot Noir regio, met druiven afkomstig van drie afzonderlijke percelen, van wijngaarden op het landgoed in Pommard en Volnay.

    Domaine A.F. Gros is een kleinschalig familie wijnhuis, ontstaan in 1988 toen de familie Gros het landgoed opsplitste. Deze tak werd overgenomen door Anne-Francoise, een gerenommeerde wijnmaker, die de teugels in 2019 overdroeg aan haar kinderen. Het is een van de drie landgoederen in eigendom van Gros in Vosne-Romanee, met een oppervlakte van 11 hectare in enkele van de beste appellations van Bourgondië, zoals Pommard, Volnay en Beaujolais.

    Dit is een zijdezachte, lichte tot medium body, met een vleugje van die beroemde Pommard-aanval en scherpe smaken van kersen, frambozen en veenbessen, ondersteund door knisperende zuren. Voordat de wijn op de markt kwam, rijpte hij 12 maanden in eikenhouten vaten. Hij is gemaakt om van te genieten in zijn jeugd en erft een levendige energie van de kalkrijke bodem waar hij verbouwd werd. Hij past uitstekend bij gevogelte, vleeswaren en vegetarische pastagerechten.
