    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Dit is een krachtige rode wijn, afkomstig van eigen wijngaarden in Rioja Alavesa. Hij begint met een bouquet van rijpe pruimen, kersen, gember, gedroogde kruiden en leer, voordat hij zich uitbreidt naar een intens gehemelte. Het is een meerderheid Tempranillo blend, aangevuld met delen Graciano en Garnacha.

    Dominio de Anza's oprichter, Diego Magana, is een jonge wijnmaker uit Navarra met een passie voor de Tempranillo en Mencia druiven. Het wijnhuis zelf ligt in de schilderachtige regio Bierzo in Noord-Spanje, maar in 2016 kocht Diego ook enkele kleine percelen op de hellingen van Rioja. Hij gebruikt alleen biologische methoden en verbouwt zijn verzamelde percelen zonder herbiciden of pesticiden.

    Dit uitstekende voorbeeld van rode Rioja wijn barst van de smaken van frambozenjam, zure kersen en pruimen. Hij zit boordevol levendige zuren en de tannines zijn fijnkorrelig en fluweelzacht in de mond. Er is een lichte invloed van hout te zien, afkomstig van de 14 maanden in eiken vaten, maar het gehemelte wordt gedomineerd door puur, intens rood fruit. Hij heeft een ongelooflijk rijpingspotentieel en een lange afdronk. Combineer deze wijn eens met chorizo, stoofpot van bonen of een stevig stuk lamsvlees.
