    Kan tot 25 jaar bewaard worden. De familie Henschke is al meer dan 150 jaar wijnmaker, sinds Johann Christian de barre tocht vanuit Brandenburg maakte en in 1862 zijn eerste wijngaarden aanplantte in Barossa. Nu wordt het wijnhuis geleid door de vijfde generatie wijnmakers Stephen en Prue, met hulp van de volgende generatie Henschke's, Johann, Justine en Andreas.

    Zoals al blijkt uit zo'n langdurige erfenis, zorgen de Henschke's goed voor hun Zuid-Australische huis. Ze oogsten van wijngaarden in de hele Barossa regio, waaronder Eden Valley, een zeer gerenommeerde en hooggelegen subregio die dient als oorsprong voor deze geconcentreerde Riesling.

    Geel met groene reflecties, deze 100% Riesling wijn barst van het karakter. Verfrissende aroma's van limoen, witte bloemen en sinaasappelschil komen uit het glas. In de mond is hij scherp en scherp, smaken van grapefruitsap en limoenschil worden gebalanceerd door zoete tonen van perzik. Op de lange afdronk vertoont deze wijn ook een sterke mineraliteit en een aantrekkelijke vuursteenigheid. De wijngaarden van Eden Valley liggen op ongeveer 500 meter boven zeeniveau, perfect voor de productie van leeftijdswaardige Rieslings. Deze wijn heeft nog jaren te gaan, maar kan ook nu al worden gedronken. Serveer hem gekoeld met zeevruchten, lichte groene salades of boterachtige asperges.
