    Bewaar de wijn tot 7 jaar. De opvallende etiketten van Lapis Luna zijn geïnspireerd op 400 jaar oude kopergravures die de relatie van de mensheid met de maan onderzoeken en ons onverzadigbaar verlangen om iets te bereiken buiten onze vertrouwde wereld. Het wijnhuis zelf is vernoemd naar de Latijnse woorden voor "steen" en "maan", wat hun filosofie uitdrukt om ambitieuze wijnen te maken die zowel heerlijke smaken als een ongelooflijke prijs-kwaliteitverhouding bieden.

    Lapis Luna haalt zijn fruit uit de Lodi en North Coast AVA's en werkt samen met partnertelers om perfect rijpe druiven te selecteren die voldoen aan hun strenge normen. Deze makkelijk drinkbare rode blend is samengesteld uit Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon en Zinfandel fruit dat apart wordt gevinifieerd voordat wijnmaker Drew Stap beslist over de uiteindelijke samenstelling van de cuvee.

    Succulente cassis, zwarte kersen en pruimen zijn de eerste smaken die uit het glas springen, gevolgd door ondertonen van gedroogde kruiden, zoethout en subtiele kruiden en toast tonen van de vatrijping. In de mond zijn er veel zachte tannines, een stevige structuur en een lange afdronk met tonen van koffiebonen, tabaksblad en houtrook. Een geweldige wijn om met familie of vrienden te drinken bij een informeel bord vleeswaren of verse pasta met een ragu-saus op basis van tomaten.
