    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    De familie Chiarlo maakt al sinds 1956 uitzonderlijke Piemontese wijnen op hun landgoed, en vandaag de dag zijn ze zeer gerespecteerd in de regio voor hun inzet voor duurzaamheid en terroir-gedreven premium wijnmaken. In totaal heeft de familie 60 hectare wijngaard en toegang tot nog eens 50 hectare dankzij hun langdurige relaties met lokale telers.

    Een van hun meest gewilde wijnen is deze aantrekkelijke Moscato d'Asti uit Nivole, die beschikt over ideale groeiomstandigheden voor het ras. De wijnstokken staan op goed drainerende zandgrond met blootstelling aan het zuidoosten en zuidwesten, wat helpt om de druiven volledig te laten rijpen. Om de delicate aroma's van de Moscato te behouden, wordt het fruit gefermenteerd in roestvrijstalen tanks, die een deel van het vrijgekomen koolzuurgas opvangen en de wijn zijn natuurlijke lichte bruis geven. Met zijn heldere bloemen- en citrustonen in de neus en verleidelijke rijpe perzik- en abrikozensmaken is dit een geweldige wijn om te serveren als aperitief of als partner van verse zeevruchten, bladgroenten en zelfs pittige Aziatische gerechten.
