Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Geniet er nu van, of bewaar hem nog een paar jaar in een kelder. U hoeft niet te decanteren voor het serveren.

    Posh is de smaak van Kroatië, gemaakt van de inheemse witte druif Pošip, die voor het eerst werd ontdekt terwijl hij tegen de zijkant van een granaatappelstruik klauterde. Het glas heeft een prachtige gouden kleur, met geuren van perzik, amandel, gedroogde kruiden en citrusrasp. De vruchten zijn afkomstig uit Čara, op het Adriatische eiland Korčula.

    Saints Hills is een familieproject, opgericht door het echtpaar Ernest en Ivana Tolj, autodidactische wijnmakers en inwoners van de Dalmatische kust. Ze worden ook ondersteund door de legende van Bordeaux zelf, Michel Rolland, die de rol van consultant en oenoloog vervult.

    Hoe minder u weet over Saints Hills, hoe beter. Zoals Ivana Tolj het zelf zegt: "Mensen hoeven niets over het wijnhuis te weten. De indruk zit in de fles". Posh is een medium body wijn, met levendige zuren. Voordat de wijn werd gebotteld, rijpte hij een heel jaar in eivormige betonnen vaten. In de mond komen citroenschil, gele appel, een mix van steenvruchten, vanille en ziltigheid naar voren. Dit wordt gevolgd door een lange, droge afdronk. Het is een uitstekende vertegenwoordiging van de Kroatische kust, perfect om te combineren met alle soorten witte vis of vegetarische risotto en pastagerechten.
