    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Centraal Otago in Nieuw-Zeeland is legendarisch voor de productie van waarschijnlijk de beste Sauvignon Blancs ter wereld - en dit is geen uitzondering. Strogeel van kleur, de neus geeft citrus, ananas samen met tonen van perzik en vers gemaaid gras. Het gehemelte explodeert met citroen en limoen, nectarine, tropisch fruit, appel en kruisbes. Hij is voller van smaak, maar blijft fris met een zuurgraad en intensiteit die verfrissend maar niet te wrang is. De rijping op eikenhout geeft de wijn een koekachtige romigheid en een lange, aanhoudende afdronk.

    Perfect gecombineerd met zalm, risotto, romige kipgerechten of briljant als aperitief.

    Amisfield's single-estate wijngaard is gelegen onder de prachtige Pisa bergketen in het Cromwell Basin in Centraal Otago, Nieuw-Zeeland. Voorheen bekend als Rocky Knoll Vineyard, heeft Amisfield zich geconcentreerd op een veel meer natuurlijke manier om fenomenale wijnen te produceren - minimale interventie tijdens de groei van de druiven en het maken van de wijn, en strikt opbrengstbeheer gecombineerd met handmatige oogst. Het resulterende fruit (en uiteindelijk de wijn) levert geconcentreerde fruitsmaken samen met complexiteit en evenwicht die de kwaliteit en het karakter van de wijn onderstrepen.
