    Gesticht in 2001 in het hart van de Alexander Valley van Sonoma County, is Roth Estate een Californisch familiebedrijf dat Bordeaux wijnen produceert uit de beste appellations van Sonoma County. Hun paradepaardje is de Cabernet Sauvignon, afkomstig uit de glooiende heuvels van de Alexander Valley, waar de wijnstokken profiteren van een vulkanische bodem met weinig kracht en een gunstig microklimaat met warme dagen en koele nachten die garant staan voor de productie van fruitige en evenwichtige wijnen.

    De Cabernet Sauvignon druiven worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd en met de hand geplukt van de beste wijngaarden in de Alexander Valley. Na de vinificatie rijpt de afgewerkte wijn 18 maanden in een mix van Frans, Amerikaans en Hongaars eikenhout.

    De wijn toont een donkerrode kleur en een krachtig en complex aromatisch profiel met tonen van donker fruit, zwarte kersen, bosbessen, cassis, koffie en cacao hints. In de mond onthult deze Cabernet Sauvignon een gedurfd, mannelijk karakter. Hij is rijk en vol van smaak met een uitstekende concentratie van donker fruit en stevige tannines. Het is een krachtige maar evenwichtige wijn. De afdronk is lang en aanhoudend met delicate minerale tonen. Het is de perfecte wijn voor gestoofd of gegrild rundvlees en vleesgerechten.
