    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Gesticht door Jess Jackson in 1989, is Stonestreet Estate Vineyards een Californisch wijnhuis in de Alexander Valley subappellation, in Sonoma County, bekend om zijn assortiment Cabernet Sauvignon en Chardonnay wijnen van enkele wijngaarden. De wijngaarden van het landgoed strekken zich uit over ongeveer 400 hectare aan de voet van de Mayacamas bergen, op hoogtes tussen 120 en 730 m boven de zeespiegel. Elk individueel perceel heeft verschillende kenmerken qua hoogte, aspect en blootstelling, wat resulteert in verschillende microklimaten. Daarom worden ze allemaal apart behandeld.

    De Chardonnay druiven voor deze prachtige wijn zijn geselecteerd uit een reeks percelen in de beste wijngaarden van het Stonestreet bergdomein. De wijn wordt met zorg geproduceerd, zodat de kenmerkende elementen van het terroir en het specifieke oogstjaar duidelijk tot uitdrukking komen.

    De Stonestreet Estate Vineyards Chardonnay heeft de heerlijke zoetheid van gekarameliseerde appels en ananas en de sappige frisheid van steenfruit met een zachte toets van ziltigheid en enkele citrustonen. In de mond is hij warm en rond met een goede fruitconcentratie en een aangename frisheid. Hij is levendig en heeft een grote lengte. Probeer hem op zichzelf of met schelpdieren of krab.
