    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Maximaal 10 jaar bewaren. De neus is uitgesproken met rijpe zwarte kersen, frambozen, pruimen en veenbessen vermengd met subtielere tonen van vanille, anijs, tijm en een vleugje rook. Het gehemelte volgt dan met fantastische rijpe frambozen, kersen en veenbessen gewikkeld rond jamachtig zwart fruit, cederhouten tonen, specerijen, cacao, zoethout en eiken vanille. Het mondgevoel is rijk en afgerond - zijdezachte tannines in evenwicht met een grote zuurgraad en alcohol zorgen voor een prachtig uitgebalanceerde wijn. De afdronk is lang, aanhoudend en eindigt met een vleugje specerijen.

    Goed om alleen te drinken of nog beter in combinatie met zalm, varkensvlees, pasta, rundvlees of ham.

    De Belle Glos naam komt van de wijnmaker, Joseph Wagner, die de wijn vernoemde ter ere van zijn grootmoeder Lorna Belle Glos Wagner die medeoprichter was van Caymus.
    De druiven werden vroeg in de ochtend geoogst terwijl het nog koel was. Met de hand gesorteerd en ontsteeld voorafgaand aan een koude maceratie in roestvrijstalen tanks die tot 2 weken kan duren. Alleen het vrije sap wordt gebruikt, wat zorgt voor uitstekende wijnen van topkwaliteit. Dit sap werd gedurende 9 maanden in Franse eik, waarvan 60% nieuw, gelagerd voordat het werd gebotteld.

    De neus is levendig robijnrood en uitgesproken met rijpe zwarte kersen, frambozen, pruimen en veenbessen vermengd met subtielere tonen van vanille, anijs, tijm en een vleugje rook.
