Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Een verfijnde, goed geproportioneerde Cabernet Sauvignon wijn die vol en zacht rijk is. De Siciliaanse Tasca D’Almerita wijnen staan bekend om hun buitengewoon verfijnde, bijna aristocratische aanbod en zijn een klassieker voor elke serieuze verzamelaar. Het Regaleali Estate heeft internationale bekendheid gekregen en de aandacht gevestigd op het ondergewaardeerde vermogen van Sicilië om zinvolle en belangrijke wijnen te maken.

    Diep, intens rood van kleur met granaatkleurige reflecties. Volle, kruidige neus met aromatische golven van fruitige en balsamico ondertonen met hints van zwarte peper en vanille. Evenwichtig, soepel en naadloos gehemelte. Frisheid en stevigheid komen gelijkmatig samen in een strak geconcentreerde kern van rijke, rijpe fruitsmaken met een achtergrond van salie en verse munt. Deze kosmopolitische wijn heeft krachtige maar niet overheersende tannines. Elegant en krachtig mondgevoel, met harmonieuze lagen van rijkdom, dit wijnjaar is bijzonder klassiek in zijn levering. Lange aanloop naar een elegante, aanhoudende afdronk met hints van hars en jeneverbes. 18 maanden gerijpt in nieuwe Franse eikenhouten barriques. Serveer met Italiaanse gerechten, rood vlees en gegrilde groenten.

    Deze wijn heeft terecht talrijke prijzen ontvangen, consistent vanaf 1990, waaronder het Concors Mondial de Bruxelles Gold voor het jaar 2003 en Silver voor het jaar 2007.
