    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    In de jaren 1890 verliet Giovanni Rivetti zijn geboorteland Piemonte om roem en fortuin te zoeken in Argentinië, maar hij droomde er altijd van om op een dag terug te keren en zijn eigen wijnmakerij op te zetten in zijn geboorteland Italië. Deze droom werd vele jaren later verwezenlijkt door zijn kleinzoon, Giuseppe, die in 1977 La Spinetta oprichtte.

    In die tijd was het land rond Castagnole Lanze vooral bekend om zijn goedkope en vrolijke Moscato d'Asti wijnen, maar de visie en het harde werk van de Rivetti familie heeft geholpen om La Spinetta op de kaart te zetten voor topkwaliteit wijnen gemaakt van andere lokale druivensoorten, waaronder Nebbiolo en Barbera. Deze elegante en verfijnde rosé werd geïnspireerd door de moeiteloos chique roze wijnen uit de Provence, maar kreeg een unieke Italiaanse twist dankzij het gebruik van de klassieke lokale Sangiovese en Prugnolo Gentile druiven.

    Citrus en mediterrane kruiden bepalen de neus, samen met heldere rode bessen en suikerpruim noten, terwijl de eerste slok een watertandende frisheid, lichte body en pure, schone afwerking onthult. Zeer gemakkelijk te drinken en barstensvol rijp rood fruit, is dit een geweldige wijn om te serveren als aperitief bij het zwembad of voor een heerlijke familiemaaltijd. Hij past ook perfect bij klassieke Italiaanse gerechten zoals zee-egels geserveerd met verse pasta of een gegrilde inktvissalade.
